Vintage mid-century Italian figural fish plate, approximately 12" long by 8" wide from fin to fin. This piece features a molded dimensional fish with hand-painted scales, raised fins, detailed facial features, blue eye, and scattered accent dots. Bottom is impressed MADE ITALY. Likely dates to the 1950s-1960s; maker is unknown. A whimsical individual fish plate for coastal, seafood, Italian pottery, or mid-century tableware collections. No major chips or cracks noted. There are minor glaze irregularities, small firing bumps or pits, light surface wear, and small areas of discoloration primarily along the edges.
