Large commemorative medal reproducing the historic Battle of Cowpens medal awarded to Brigadier General Daniel Morgan for the American victory at Cowpens during the Revolutionary War. The reverse is clearly marked “COMITIA AMERICANA – REPRODUCTION 1831.” Dramatic high-relief design depicts Morgan on horseback receiving a crown from Victory while an enemy figure retreats. Opposite side features the original-style Latin inscription surrounded by a wreath. Housed in a protective capsule. This is a reproduction/commemorative medal, not an original 18th-century issue.
