This is an antique porcelain soup tureen manufactured and decorated by Oscar Gutherz (O. Gutherz) in Limoges, France. Produced during the late 19th century (circa 1880s–1890s). Oscar Gutherz operated a highly regarded porcelain factory and decorating studio in the Limoges region, primarily exporting luxury fine china to the American market. The piece showcases classic late-Victorian design, featuring a scalloped body, hand-painted or transfer floral arrangements (including delicate pink roses and wild blossoms), and heavy 22kt gold gilding on the ornate finial handle and side scrolls. Collectible and valuable based in condition. This one is in excellent condition. It weighs over 3 pounds.
