This is an original antique 1920s silver gelatin real photo portrait (8x10) depicting a young girl proudly posing outside on the sidewalk with her vintage pneumatic-tire safety bicycle against the marble facade of a building. The bicycle is outfitted with an authentic period felt promotional pennant attached to the rear frame that reads "NEW ROCHELLE" in bold, stitched block lettering. The girl is dressed in a classic drop-waist polka dot dress of the era, knee-high socks, and a delicate pendant necklace. The photograph is printed on heavy, matte-finish studio silver gelatin card stock with a blank reverse. Condition is excellent antique with high clarity, deep contrast, excellent tonal range, and minimal surface wear or age-appropriate handling.
