Product Details

Beautiful vintage **Lladró #4990 "Timid Japanese," also known as "Chrysanthemum" (Japonesita Tímida)** porcelain figurine, designed by renowned Lladró sculptor Salvador Debón. This elegant figure depicts a shy Japanese woman dressed in a soft blush pink kimono with lavender-gray trim, raised chrysanthemum detailing and a rich rust-colored obi. She holds a folding fan delicately near her face, with tiny applied pink flowers accenting her traditional upswept hairstyle. Introduced in **1978 and retired in 1998**, this discontinued design is a beautiful example of classic Lladró Spanish porcelain. Marked on the underside with the blue **LLADRÓ Hand Made in Spain** backstamp. **Condition:** Very good pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or repairs observed. The delicate fan and applied floral details appear intact.
