Vintage heavy amethyst/purple art glass bowl or decorative dish featuring an unusual hand-shaped freeform design. The piece has multiple rounded petal-like lobes surrounding a circular center, with an elongated curled lobe on one end and a dramatic pointed fold on the opposite side. Deep smoky-amethyst glass appears nearly black in lower light and reveals rich purple tones under stronger illumination. Under 365nm UV, the glass produces a strong yellow-green manganese fluorescence, making it especially attractive for UV-reactive glass displays.
