Lovely quality decoration brings this little brooch up to a higher level than most standard Damascene style brooches. The central bird motif is exceptionally well painted. The blackened steel panel is set into a gold tone fan shape panel and held in by two tiny clasps. The brooch closes with a trombone clasp. Really nice Spanish Toledo Damascene style which would appeal to collectors. Unsigned. In nice condition with a little wear to the gold tone setting on the reverse.
