Beautiful antique handmade filigree pendant featuring exceptionally intricate openwork and dimensional floral and scrolling designs. The pendant is constructed from delicate twisted and formed metalwork with individually worked filigree elements layered and soldered together, creating wonderful depth and texture. The craftsmanship is much finer and more elaborate than typical later cast filigree jewelry. The pendant presents as silver and has multiple extremely worn marks, including marks on the pendant, bail, and jump ring. Unfortunately, the markings are no longer legible enough to confidently identify the maker, country of origin, or silver fineness. • 2.25” long × 1.5” wide • Weight: 10.80 grams • Pendant only — chain is not included
