Vintage 1973 Wellston, Ohio Centennial ceramic mug commemorating the city's 100th anniversary, 1873-1973. Cream-colored glazed ceramic with dark red/burgundy transfer design showing the Harvey Wells monument and downtown streetscape. Tall flared tankard-style form with squared handle, approximately 6 inches tall. Wellston was founded in 1873 by Harvey Wells, and the city held its centennial celebration in 1973. No maker's mark is visible in the photos. A nice piece of Jackson County, Ohio local history and a great addition to a souvenir mug, hometown, or Ohio memorabilia collection.
