This is a 14" vintage 1940's "Plassie" head doll by Ideal. This hard plastic head (Patent number 2250277) was paired with a number of different bodies by Ideal, this doll features a cloth body with composition arms, torso, and legs, most likely made around 1948. She has sleepy-eyes and molded-on hair. Her composition parts do show signs of crazing, cracking, and chipping as is common on composition dolls of this age, and her head shows signs of surface wear, please see photos. She comes dressed in a pink satin outfit with bonnet, pretend rattle, and miniature wool teddy bear by Shanghai Doll Co. Signed "Made in USA" on back of head.
