Antique circa-1920s Little Tom five-cent cigar tin featuring gold, black and orange Art Deco lithographed graphics. The hinged metal box displays Little Tom Cigars branding on the exterior lid and again beneath the lid, with a geometric pattern around the sides. A tax notice states that the original cigars retailed for no more than five cents each and were tax paid. Measures approximately 8 x 5 x 1 inch. An appealing piece of early American tobacciana, general-store advertising and decorative storage history. Antique used condition with overall surface wear, scratches, scuffs, finish loss, darkening and scattered oxidation consistent with age. The lid has shallow warping or waviness.
