Crafted in the 1950s, typical of Japanese import ceramics of the post World War II era, this set features a proudly fanned Tom turkey and his accompanying Hen companion. *Era: Circa 1950s Mid-Century *Maker: Unmarked Post-WWII Japan import origin *Material: Ceramic / Earthenware *Measurements: Tom Turkey Male: Approximately 2.75 inches tall Hen Turkey Female: Approximately 2.50 inches tall *Stoppers: Both shakers retain their original cork stoppers. ​Condition: ​Overall Condition: Very good vintage condition. Colors and Paint: Bright, vibrant hand-painted details with light surface wear appropriate for age. Structure: No structural cracks on the body. Minor surface crazing is present on the back of the Tom turkey tail fan visible under close inspection. There is a tiny fleabite of paint wear along the top rear edge of the fanned tail. Plugs: Original fitted cork stoppers remain intact inside the bottom fill holes.
