Beautiful vintage silver-plated brass spherical incense burner/pomander featuring ornate raised floral and scrolling leaf designs with pierced triangular openings throughout. The silver-plated exterior has developed an attractive aged patina, with areas of wear revealing the warm brass-colored base metal beneath. The sphere opens on a hinged center and secures with a decorative latch. A burgundy hanging cord is attached at the top, allowing the piece to be displayed as a hanging decorative accent. The detailed metalwork and pierced construction give it a wonderful vintage Middle Eastern/Indian-inspired appearance.
