Wonderful old rustic Christmas Nativity stable/crèche, believed to date approximately 1940s–1960s. Handmade construction using wood/plywood along with natural bark-covered branches and twigs for the posts and decorative supports. Features a peaked roof, open sides and loose straw/hay inside for a wonderfully primitive old-world appearance. Perfect for displaying vintage Italian, German or other Nativity figures. Shows authentic vintage age and wear including discoloration, surface wear, aged wood, irregularities to the natural branches and loose/missing straw. Handmade construction is somewhat primitive by nature. Stable/crèche only unless otherwise stated—figures not included. 10” across, 8” tall
