Vintage Shawnee Creek Kilns collector plate commemorating Greenville, Ohio, “The Treaty City.” This approximately 10-inch ceramic plate features dark green transfer-style illustrations of the 1875 Greenville City Hall plus Fort Greene Ville, Memorial Hall, Greenville High School, the Altar of Peace, Treaty Boulder and other local imagery. Reverse text discusses the 1795 Treaty of Greenville and identifies Shawnee Creek Kilns of Germantown, Ohio. Mid-century Ohio souvenir and local-history collectible with detailed graphics and strong Darke County interest. Plate is circa 1950s. No chips or cracks noted. There is age-related crazing present.
