Vintage black bell sleeve cardigan likely from the 1960s. This adorable cardi has five covered buttons up the front, no collar and 3/4 bell sleeves. The bodice is unlined and since it has no tags I'm not sure what the material is. It has a slight velvet to cashmere feel on the outside, but the interior weave is smooth and synthetic feeling. The short length has a very 40s-50s era feel, but the bell sleeves scream 60s-early 70s. If you look just at the hem you'd think possibly handmade, but the seams look manufactured. This beauty is throwing me off so much! The bell sleeves are lined with a poly material to give them more volume and make them stiff. There is some wear to the fabric that you can see in the close up and buttoned photos. It looks like the cardigan is "dusty" but it's actually where the fabric has worn a bit and you see more of the bottom side of the fabric.
