Lot of 9 original WWII-era magazine advertisements featuring dramatic wartime aviation, armor, industrial and Home Front artwork. Includes advertising from Brewster Aircraft, International Harvester, Truscon Steel, Airchox/Joyce Aviation, Aircraft Accessories Corp., Milwaukee Road, Ethyl Corp. and others. Subjects include WWII bombers and fighters, tanks, half-tracks, aerial combat, war production, War Bonds and industrial support of the American war effort. Each original advertisement has been mounted on a larger approximately 18” x 12.5” backing and laminated. Unfortunately, the lamination is directly over the original period advertisements, so these are being offered primarily as vintage display pieces rather than untouched paper ephemera. Excellent large-format WWII wall/display material with outstanding period artwork. 9 pieces total. Sold as one lot.
