Product Details

You are purchasing this antique "Shannon" arched file clipboard with its two swing-out aches that hold papers measuring 12" long x 7" wide. The "Shannon File" refers to a revolutionary two-prong arched filing and binding system invented and patented by James Shannon in the late 1870's. Manufactured by Globe-Wernicke between 1890's - 1920's. This clipboard features a durable dark masonite hardboard with round corners and the classic cast-metal "Shannon" dual arch mechanisms that swings outward. Perfect as a functional office collection, restaurant menu display or a unique rustic wall organizer. This board shows some surface patina with light wear and age appropriate oxidation on the metal components. Please purchase responsibility. No cancelation, refunds or returns. Ask questions before purchasing. See all pictures. Thank you.
