Excellent vintage gently used condition! The embossed cover detailing remains sharp and distinct, with minimal surface wear. String tie binding is secure. The interior pages show considerable, expected age-related discoloration (toning/browning) typical of 1940s paper.Overall Despite the natural toning, the paper remains in very good condition. The pages are stable, intact, and not brittle or crumbling to the touch. There is light surface wear to the edges and corners of the cover. This 1940s scrapbook features a heavily embossed, textured brown leatherette cover depicting a classic Western scene with a covered wagon and team of horses. The album is bound via a traditional cord/string. Most of the pages are empty but there are two1942 Local Newspaper clippings on one page.
