For the month of October I am going to be selling stickers to raise money for Domestic Violence Awareness through The Purple Leash Project. The Purple Leash Project, created by Purina in partnership with the nonprofit RedRover, works to convert domestic violence shelters into pet-friendly spaces so survivors and their pets can escape abuse and heal togetherRoughly 48% of domestic abuse survivors delay leaving an abusive situation because they cannot bring their pets with them, and over 70% of women in shelters report that their abuser threatened, injured, or killed a pet as a control tactic.
