I went back to review the livestream to make sure I hadn’t missed anything about the set being incomplete. I could not find any indication that it was missing pieces, nor did I hear anything like that mentioned about the other sets sold before my purchase.
The LEGO box was taped shut, ruining the original packaging. If it was going to be damaged this way, I would have preferred not to receive it and instead pay less for shipping without the box.
I’m quite familiar with Whatnot through the Pokémon collecting scene, so I’m not new to Whatnot. However, my winning bid was high enough that I could have bought the same set brand new elsewhere, making the condition super disappointing. For a seller apparently focused on LEGO, I expected more. I recommend bidding cautiously on anything other than new or parts only. Thank you for another well packed package. I look forward to putting this item together.
