Amazing seller! Stellar pieces!!! Don’t sleep on this stuff! It is with genuine disappointment that I leave my first negative review. After purchasing a necklace, I raised a good-faith concern about its authenticity and followed Whatnot’s Help With Purchase process. Rather than allowing the process to play out, the seller’s communication became accusatory and strongly suggested I was attempting to receive both a refund and keep the item. Nothing could have been further from the truth.
I take pride in my reputation on Whatnot as both a buyer and a seller, and I found those implications deeply offensive. While disagreements over an item’s authenticity can happen, buyers should be able to ask legitimate questions and use the platform’s resolution process without being treated with suspicion or disrespect.
Your experience may not be the same as mine; I encourage others to form their own opinion. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of my expectations. The seller was less than professional.This buyer asked if I planned to sell this necklace. After I said it would be in my BIN soon, she replied she had already purchased one & I should have "struck while the iron was hot." Despite my listing having a different designer from the 1 she just bought, she still made an offer, saying she could sell one & keep one, & bought other items. When she questioned the attribution, I apologized if I had erred, explained I relied on 8 comparable listings, & tried to contact the designer to verify it. My custom scent came out to smell like candied rose petals and I love it! Projection is very good, haven’t done a full wear test to see how long it will last but so far I am very impressed!
