He told me he was going to make it right, but after dragging it out for weeks, he turned around and said the two-week Whatnot protection period had passed, so he had no obligation to fix the situation anymore.
Meanwhile, he was trying to get me to buy coins from him off-platform, which felt very sketchy, especially after the first incident. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he claimed to be a senior dealing with medical issues, but it turns out a lot of what he said appears to be untrue.
I’ve also heard from other buyers who met him through Whatnot that they received empty packages after purchasing from him. Based on my experience, I would be extremely cautious dealing with this seller. Terrible seller and terrible shipper. He also lied about “making it right.” He packed 20 Libertads in a single Ziploc bag, all banging into each other like pennies, causing around $2,000 worth of damage to my coins. After weeks of waiting for him to fix the situation, he told me that since it had been over two weeks, Whatnot’s cutoff passed and he had no obligation to make it right anymore.
On top of that, he sent my friend an empty box. He also tried convincing me to buy items directly off-platform, which felt extremely sketchy. Thank God I didn’t do any offline transactions with him.
