Chill guy, will dip toes…whatever that means. I was walking down the road and a squirrel’s poop landed on my cloak. “Wow,” I thought, “I guess my day is ruined.” So I took off my cloak and rolled it up to keep the poop from smearing all over. I continued down the walkway and out of nowhere, a teen on an electric scooter comes flying around a corner. She’s holding a slurpee. Yes, that same teen decides to make no effort to scoot past me and instead bumps me in the shoulder WITH HER SLURPEE. So, I remove my shirt. It’s about 45 degrees outside and I’m shirtless, carrying slurpee and squirrel crap-covered clothing. Sigh. I finally reach my mailbox. What’s inside? A Whanot package from Brixhaven?! Oh my days, that’s what we call a 180. I’m over the moon, even though it’s 5:29 PM and the moon has yet to make an appearance. I’m reminded of the nostalgic music, the silly banter, and the joy of pack ripping from Brixhaven’s stream. You might think you’re having a terrible day; this man might be the only one to save you.
