Now, you’d think that would be the most dramatic thing to happen that evening, but NO. At the exact same moment the gun went off, my doorbell rang.
I nearly launched my fish and chips across the living room.
I opened the door, and there stood the postie, completely unfazed, holding my parcels like he hadn’t just witnessed the opening scene of an episode of EastEnders.
“Parcel for you, mate.”
Phil Mitchell was bleeding out on the telly, my chips were going cold, and this bloke was standing there expecting a signature.
