I recently purchased a Milwaukee drill from Whatnot, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.
The drill arrived in very poor packaging—just a simple wrap with no box or proper protection, which was already a red flag. After putting a battery in, I tested it, and while it does run in both forward and reverse, the performance is concerning. The motor produces excessive sparking—far more than what would be considered normal—and you can actually see sparks coming out of the motor area.
On top of that, it makes a rough, unpleasant noise, especially when releasing the trigger. It sounds like something internally is worn out or damaged.
Overall, this tool does not feel safe or reliable to use. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying a drill this way, especially without proper packaging or assurance of quality.It’s quite unfortunate that you would leave someone a negative review based on your lack of knowledge. this was a brand new drill with a 25/36 date code, its a brushed tool, not brushless. So it’s going to emit a spark or release some when the electronic brake is activated. Not to mention this is $140 drill that you got for less than $50. The sound that you are rough sound your hearing is the sound of the chuck actually spinning because you are using it without a drillbit. 100% normal your items were bubble wrapped and protected in a shipping bag.
