My re- visioning of the things we have been discarding or taking for granted over the last couple of decades comes from having lived the life of the last century (canning, sewing, raising animals for the table, picking fruit for hay money), and having grandmothers who remember the Depression cry of use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without! Mom always said before she got us something at the second-hand store , “Show me three things you can do with this”, not counting its original use.All this adds up to being creative to make the most of what we have. It is fun giving something new life, saving it and us from landfill!
