A slow, sticky, smacking sound came forth as the man's lips separated to talk. His eyes were now fixed on mine. His red lipstick was jagged and asymmetrical across his mouth as he spoke. "This is very important," he said in a low, raspy voice.
I looked inside and understood exactly what he meant.
As I lifted my head to thank him, he was gone, in a flurry of sparkling glitter.
