Loved this purse so much. Such a great fun experience. Thank u This seller sent me a counterfeit MCM tote bag. I had watched her lives several times before bidding and she has a great story- she’s a pastor’s wife, nurse, etc, so I felt like she could be trusted. I thought it was strange that she listed the bag at $150 to start (because it’s an $800 bag), but I proceeded to bid on it anyway and won. I noticed the bag was clearly fake immediately after opening the box. It smelled and felt like plastic, seams and stitching was off, emblems were crooked. Anyone who has had as many bags as she has, would know the quality of the bag was poor. The seller played dumb, claimed she’s trustworthy because she’s a Christian, pastor’s wife, and nurse, and then wanted me to ship the bag back to her. She also asked me to get the bag authenticated. Why was that not done before selling to someone? She has now blocked me because I didn’t respond to her requests. I am currently working with whatnot to get this resolved. From the beginning, I acted in good faith and made every reasonable effort to resolve the buyer’s concerns. Throughout our conversation I:
* Responded promptly and professionally.
* Offered a full refund once the item was returned.
* Offered to reimburse return shipping.
* Offered to pay for an independent authentication service.
* Contacted my own supplier to investigate the buyer’s concerns.
* Requested photos so I could better evaluate the issue. I got nothing. No return bag. No return comment. Nothing. So I guess I was suppose to let her keep my MCM bag and send her a refund for the bag. All I can say is Thank You!!
