Packaged well, arrived timely and still a nice piece.Thanks so much for your purchase and for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry the level of oxidation wasn’t quite what you were expecting. I do my best to point out any signs of age or wear during my live shows, and in this case I mentioned the oxidation in the description in my store and took a photo of it. I also pointed it out on camera. Since these are genuine vintage ornaments, some patina and oxidation are part of their character and can vary in appearance depending on the lighting or when viewed in person.
The pink teapot ornament had two callouts on it that were not mentioned. It had two significant breaks on the neck of it and while it was mentioned there was some paint loss the bottom of the ornament was never shown and had complete paint loss on it. These two things would have made my bidding go a lot different! Hi - thanks for the review. I did mention the call out on the pike in the description of the ornament in the store but with the rush of the train failed to call it out during the live. I apologize for that. And I had only noticed the one chip in the pike so another big apology that I missed the second one. I love my little Santa so much! While most of the book is in great condition, the measuring tape was included as stated but had quite a bit of old tape/staining on it. Also on the main pop up page there is a large gold coin that isn’t supposed to be there glued to the page. There is no way to remove it without ripping the page and leaving a large hole in it. Very out of place as it is like a bubble gum token and it partially covers one of the characters face. Feel like this should have been shown/ disclosed when discussing condition. The box had a lot of damage which was disclosed which I appreciate. I’m so sorry Cindy that I didn’t disclose the full condition of the book during the train.
