We communicated and agreed on a specific price for an Olivia Miles autograph. The seller confirmed the deal and was supposed to adjust the listing so I could complete the purchase. Instead, after communicating quickly beforehand, they stopped responding for approximately five hours. When they finally replied, they told me they had received a higher offer and I would need to increase my offer—even though we had already agreed on a price. I ultimately purchased the card at the full asking price because I did not want to lose it after already having a deal in place. On top of that, the card arrived with a scratch on the front, and the seller’s communication became rude and unprofessional. In my opinion, agreeing to a deal and then backing out to leverage another buyer for more money is unethical. Very disappointing experience. Buyer beware.As we let you know, we had multiple offers.
