Many vintage ornaments, especially mercury glass, naturally show their age, patina, wear, and imperfections — and those characteristics are part of what makes them vintage and collectible.
I always do my best to photograph and describe condition honestly, and I’m sorry this particular purchase didn’t meet your ex Such a cute piece! It’s going on my dog-themed tree.
