I really appreciated the givvy, however the note that was left on the receipt was a bit distasteful. It said “Don’t just be a givvy goblin. Share the show, tap the screen, send a tip, or make a purchase to support the seller.” The only reason I joined the giveaway was to get cheaper shipping. I did tap the screen and shared the show with my husband, but I didn’t find any of the women on the cards he was selling to be attractive for my taste, or I would’ve gladly supported him with a purchase. They cost me the item, packaging, shipping supplies, printing, and shipping, and I’ve still received negative reviews because the giveaway wasn’t “good enough.” I also noticed follower giveaways were rarely won by buyers. Because of that, I’ve switched to buyer-only giveaways to make them more sustainable while giving back to those supporting my small business.
