Reviews (479)I waited a few weeks to leave this review in hopes that these plants would bounce back to how they looked on screen, however that's not the case. When they arrived they did not look good. The dirt was extremely dry and very hard pack. The plants were both limp and crispy. They were packaged very well and they arrived fast which tells me they were not in good shape when they were shipped out. I tried my best to nurse them back to health but unfortunately they both died. Excellent deals, as always! Avoid this seller. After being hit with over $100 in shipping fees on small 2" plants, I emailed the seller and their mod right away to notify them that this happened and explicitly requested a cancellation. They initially responded appropriately and acknowledged my cancellation request stating, "We will do whatever we can. We obviously won't hold you up on those orders at that shipping. We can figure something out." Then they rushed to ship the orders out to protect their stats without communciating with me at all leaving me with shipping costs of over $100. When I asked them why they did that and explained that this was a big loss for me they were rude, arrogant, and dismissive acknowledging my cancellation request and claiming "communication doesn't stop the clock." They even tried to justify the extreme shipping costs by spreading 2" plants across four mostly empty, oversize boxes. Extremely rude and unkind service and terrible packing. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. I am not really happy about my order. the order was for a strawberry begonia and not a spider plant. but the video receipt doesn't show that but there is not proof because the seller doesn't announce the winner if the auctions after they win. I would never order a spider plant because I don't like them at all. they always die on me. but I will guvea 5 star because the packaging was great and the shipping was fast Quality plants shipped quickly and safely Perfect like ALWAYS!! My little plat is thriving :) Everything was packed so carefully and the plants look great, thank you Packaged in a taller slender box. Plants individually wrapped and placed in box. Was ok but outer label on box runs horizontally so tendency to lay it down so soil was all over when box was opened. Received my 2 Hoyas I ordered. The tiger fern plant I received does not match the expected appearance. The leaves show no signs of variegation or striping, which suggests that either the wrong variety was shipped or the plant has fully reverted. I attempted to contact the seller but have not received a response. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience. Grounded Gardens has some terrific deals on hoyas. I would recommend them if you are looking for plants. Healthy plant package well. I received with no damage I received my order of Hoyas! I was worried due to the heat. I am very happy each one is in very nice shape. They were packed with meticulous care and shipping was timely. Thank you so much for the lovely Hoyas! Looking forward to watching them grow🙌🏼🌿🌿🌿 This was one of my favorite sellers until I had an order for over 200 dollars bc I bid on items on a prior auction and it just keeps rolling on to new auctions and after I reached out asking for my bids to be canceled bc they were for prior shows he sold me over 200 dollars worth on an auction I did bid on. So buyer beware don't put pre-bids in bc they'll stay there each show until you buy one whether it's one you wanted or not and he won't delete them. so you never know when you're going to buy plants you didn't intend on buying. Typically the plants were shipped well but for some reason my begonias always got powdery mildew and some Hoyas were cuttings without roots and died soon after. My last unplanned order bc the prebid ordeal 2 of my plants arrived in terrible condition. 1 died in route to my house and the other was horribly beat up. Went from one of my favorite sellers to doubt I'll buy from them again. Very disappointed.
