Reviews (75)It’s taken me a couple weeks to write this review because I’ve genuinely been trying to clean these dolls. I enjoyed the show and seller did disclose “dirty Barbies,” which I can usually handle as a doll restorer, but these were waaay beyond that. Opening the box was like sticking your face into the cigarette-soaked carpet of an old 1970s casino. 😭 The dolls were so smoky and dirty they immediately turned the bathwater brown. I’ve since done multiple rounds of cleaning (vinegar, detergent, soaps, baking soda scrubs) I even bought a $60 ozone machine to try to remove the smoke smell, but it barely made a dent. 😳 Sadly, they’re not salvageable for restoration in my case, and I’ll have to resell them as-is with full disclosure. I’ve never had to leave a comment like this before, but I do think it’s important for buyers to know when something is this far beyond “dirty.” Great seller, excellent packing skills!!
