I didn’t know what was going on, like why kill the main character in the show who also happens to be the hottest character and the reason we all watched the show. But anyways it was a Thursday. In my manic state of disassociation and self destruction from the Marissa dying situation as mentioned before, I stumbled across this whatnot stream. Sure, it didn’t have a bombshell ginger lead, whose appeal captured audiences around the globe, but it had a Jake, and in that moment, it felt good. It felt right, ya know? I hadn’t felt since Marissa lived. I was finally able to ground myself after who knows how many Marissa-less episodes I stared blankly at. Thank you Jake.
