Thank you! Great condition 10 out of 10 actually received sealed pack with a card visor too unlike 70% of these whatnot sellers who would open off stream and send random cards Packaged well I didn’t get my givy that I won and one card was said to be Lp but it had a big crease in it one of the best steamers you will find Finest Apple farm on this side of the Mississippi thanks so much fam, your the GOAT🔌🔌👌 • Apples: 3 to 6 lbs of soft, sweet apples (like Fuji, Braeburn, or Gala)
• Apple Cider: 3/4 cup to 2 cups of fresh apple cider (adds deep apple flavor and liquid)
• Sugar: 1/2 cup to 3 cups of brown or granulated sugar (depending on apple sweetness and batch size)
• Spices: Cinnamon, cloves, and a dash of nutmeg or allspice
• Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon added at the very end to brighten the flavor. 1. Peel, core, and chop your apples. Combine the apples, apple cider, sugar, and spices in a large pot or slow cooker. Simmer on medium-low until the apples are very soft and break down (about 45–60 minutes on the stovetop, or 5–6 hours in a slow cooker).
Use an immersion blender to puree the hot apple mixture until completely smooth. Return the smooth puree to the heat and cook uncovered, stirring often, until it turns dark, thick, and glossy (another 1 to 4 hours depending on the method). Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice. Cool before storing in jars. 1. Preheat the Oven: Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Prepare the Crust: Roll out the first pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate. Keep the second crust ready for the top.
3. Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
4. Assemble the Pie: Place the apple mixture into the bottom crust, mounding slightly in the center. Cover with the top crust or cut into strips for a lattice design. Crimp the edges to seal and cut small vents if using a full top crust.
5. Add Egg Wash: Brush the top pastry gently with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
6. Bake: Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes, then lower the temperature to 375°F (or 350°F) and bake for another 40 to 50 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling bubbles. Cover the edges with foil if they brown too fast.
