The seller claimed it was not cracked while it was in his possession, but when I reached out to him to try to resolve the issue, he was unwilling to help or make the situation right.
I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—I simply wanted the seller to work with me on an appropriate resolution. Instead, the conversation became patronizing and included blame-shifting rather than an effort to resolve the problem. Ultimately, the seller ignored me, blocked me, and left me no choice but to escalate the matter to Whatnot Support.
Things can happen during shipping, and I understand that not every issue is necessarily the seller’s fault. What was disappointing was the seller’s refusal to work toward a reasonable solution once the issue was brought to his attention. The way the situation was handled was far more concerning to me than the damaged slab itself.
I would not purchase from this seller again based on how this issue was handled.First you get upset because I didn’t run a card you wanted at the end of one of my shows. You came back, bought an expensive card which was not ran on sudden death (you knew what you were buying) and you requested a cancellation after my show was over(claiming your fat fingers accidentally max bid) I denied your request and you called it lame. I shipped your package safely and then you reach out claiming the card was cracked. I showed proof it was not when you bought it. You gave me crazy alternatives so I asked you to escalate it bcz I believe you are committing fraud and I have the proof. W givvy. All the money I spend on this app feels good to get a str8 W givvy.
