The man took me into his carriage, gave me warm tea, as the weather was a beating squall, then he made a kind wager. In exchange for a minor fortune, he would provide to me a slightly used copy of a DG Compton masterpiece. Furthermore, he offered his man to bury my horse as well as provide me umbrage towards the closest manner with whom I could seek shelter. Alas, the only catch was a forlorn curse that should hang like a fog on my mind till the end cometh. This curse was nothing more than an unquenchable thirst for more and more vintage bindings of new wave science fiction. Of course, I took the gentleman up on his offer, having knowledge of a condition he was unaware of. You see dear reader, I already am afflicted with this curse, so his offer was only gentle and amiable, fully delivering on his promises. Cheers ole chap. Pip pip. Thanks for the bonus book!
