Seller was amazing to work with to resolve extra shipping charges. The packaging can be improved. The hoyas were shipped in plastic cups without holes (no ventilation) and the soil mixture was wet. Having wet soil mixture with no ventilation increases the risk of root rot and unfortunately one of my plants did not make it. I was told it was because of not buying heat protection but I truly believe it was due to the oversaturated soil. I had to immediately repot the other hoyas to avoid any risk of root rot. I will be closely monitoring the other hoyas to see if they make through. Thank you for the plants, and taking
Care of the shipping mistake! Received beautiful & healthy plants!!! Highly recommend seller :) Upon opening package the cutting felt really week but knew it had just been transported so gave it some time, it’s now lost all leaves and is just a a cup of soil. Likely no fault of the seller but the cutting in the picture didn’t look like the one I received. Heard this can be a finicky Hoya so maybe a mixture of that & being shipped Love love love. I did not see winter protection available when I purchased. The seller reached out before mailing to see if I wanted insulation but I did not see it until after it was shipped. It is so sad to look at the once lively plants looking like dark limp noodles. Thank you for your feedback, and I’m truly sorry for the loss of your plants — I know how upsetting that can be.
For clarity, winter protection information was included in the live under the note section, and I also reached out prior to shipping to confirm whether insulation was needed. Unfortunately, once a package is in transit, extreme cold temperatures can cause damage beyond my control.
I appreciate you acknowledging that this was not the seller’s fault, and I truly empathize with how disappointing this experience was.
