I purchased nearly A$100 worth of goods from seller marybar70190 on 14/08/2026. Unfortunately, the seller sent me the wrong items.
Rather than immediately requesting a refund through Whatnot, I contacted the seller directly to give her an opportunity to correct the mistake. I understand that packing errors happen, and I have resolved similar issues directly with other streamers before without needing to involve Whatnot Support.
The seller acknowledged the mistake, apologised and told me she would make it right.
However, rather than simply sending the items I had already paid for, she asked me to join another one of her livestreams and enter a giveaway so that she could use the giveaway shipment to send me what I was owed. I did this at her request. I spent around 30 minutes in the stream repeatedly trying to win the giveaway while other viewers were also entering. Eventually I won, and she confirmed that she would use that shipment to send me the items I waThe order was delayed, and you were trying to win a giveaway to cover the shipping label, but instead of leaving the issue unresolved, I personally created a shipping label outside Whatnot to make sure your order was sent to correct . Your item has now been shipped, and just waiting for you to get the order I also provided a FREE booster boxes as compensation for the delay. I took extra steps to resolve the situation, so I don’t think this review fairly reflects what I did to resolve the issue.
