I genuinely thought there had been some sort of administrative error. I checked the screen, checked the slab, checked the price, then checked the screen again just in case I had accidentally become incredibly wealthy.
One spin. ONE.
Big Mr Francis had clearly put the top ticket in there thinking, “Surely nobody’s going to hit that.”
I hit it. 😂
At this point I don’t even feel like I’m buying Pokémon cards from him. I feel like I’m conducting a very successful long-term raid on his inventory.

First, I won a free giveaway and got an awesome Pokémon badge. Lovely stuff. Surely that was enough?
Apparently not.
I then paid for a spin, won a slab worth roughly FIVE TIMES what I paid, and to finish the whole thing off… FREE POSTAGE.
At this point I was waiting for someone to knock on my door and ask for the money back because surely this couldn’t be legal.
Big Mr Francis must have been sitting there watching the order go through thinking, “What have I done?”
I started this transaction as a customer and somehow ended it feeling like the getaway driver in a Pokémon-themed bank robbery.
Absolutely brilliant seller, amazing prizes, cracking service and clearly far too generous for his own good.
10/10. Would absolutely mug him off again.
