Hi, I’m Doug. Welcome to Midcentury to Modern Decor. This is more than a shop. It’s a groovy little hangout built around my whimsical embroidery art, vintage decor, vintage original music, good conversation, and community. A big part of what I create is my own colorful, retro-inspired embroidery pieces. Think bold 60s and 70s designs, flower power, funky mushrooms, groovy animals, and pieces that you won’t see anywhere else. You can hang out, chat, listen to some original tunes, and also shop a curated mix of vintage finds from atomic starbursts and owls and all the wonderfully weird decor that deserves a second life.
