I’ve been a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 30 years but I was born into thrifting and antiques. My mother collected everything you can think of except for bags and that’s exactly what I love. I was drug from little shacks in the middle of nowhere to huge meeting places once a month at convention areas, race tracks etc…. I said I would never have an antique in my house when I grew up, well I’ve had to eat crow over that one . I love the thrill of the hunt , looking for that unicorn that tickles your fancy. I think about what an item has been through, what stories they could tell. It just gets more fun every day and it’s so exciting to find other people who love the odd and interesting items out there.
