I started coin hunting as a hobby in April 2024, one day, I found a "1982 D. small date penny,I weighed it twice and it was 3.08 grams." However,at the time I was going through a bunch of coin rolls and sat it next to my lamp away from other Penny's, and was going to put in my coin folder.some how I mixed up with Penny's I was returning to the bank and lost it 😭. Almost a year later, I still can't believe I had a $18'000 penny in my hand and lost it,as far as I know it would have been the 3rd one found, just smdh 🙄 .A lesson learned,"soon as you find a valuable coin hunting, put it somewhere safe asap.Just wanted to share my story, I'm still heart broken 💔 LoL 🤣. "Happy Hunting."
