After waiting for an update, I reached out to ask when the giveaway had shipped and what item I had actually won. To my surprise, the seller couldn’t provide an answer because the giveaway had never been sent in the first place.
I understand that managing giveaways can be hectic, but if you’re going to host one, it’s important to follow through with your commitment. Winners shouldn’t have to chase down the seller for updates or find out that nothing was ever shipped. A simple message explaining the situation or acknowledging the oversight would have gone a long way.
This experience was disappointing because the excitement of winning quickly turned into frustration due to the lack of communication and follow-through. If you advertise giveaways, buyers and viewers should be able to trust that the prizes will actually be sent. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this seller when it comes to honoring it. Imagine taking the time to write this much about a free card that was marked as delivered to you, by the way. Awesome seller! Thank you for the Givvy it was one I have been looking for.
