Warning: Buying from Placid Gems may result in an uncontrollable urge to check opal auctions at 2am. Brilliant opal and great service! As a dragon of impeccable taste and an ever-growing hoard, I take gemstone acquisitions very seriously. After all, what's the point of sleeping atop a mountain of treasure if the gems don't sparkle magnificently?
I recently added some opals from Placid Gems to my collection, and I am pleased to report that they have earned a place in the centre of the hoard. The colours are absolutely enchanting—so much so that I briefly considered breathing fire just to see them glow even more dramatically.
The stones arrived safely, exactly as described, and were beautiful enough to make neighboring dragons visibly jealous. My only complaint is that now I need to expand the treasure chamber to make room for future purchases.
Highly recommended to dragons, wizards, adventurers, and anyone else in need of worthy treasure. The hoard approves
Is shell, is pretty. Hopefully user does not grind color off this. Went in with the plan to buy some quality Coober rough if it came up. Here’s what really happened:
- shell fossil bits
-belemnites crystals
-chrysoprase chunks
-gold nuggets speccies
-door stopper opalised bricks
-fossilised snails
-Olympic rough stone
-weird goldy looking rock
- gypsum opal band specimen
And more I can’t even recall!
So be very careful if you plan to look - the quality of stuff is so good you’ll want to buy. Placidgems stones have no hidden secrets. A transparent/ quality seller. What you see is what you get and if you are not happy ( highly unlikely) reach out before touching the stone and they are more than happy to accommodate.
