If you receive a watch that doesn’t work, you’re apparently stuck with it because he hides behind the “sold as is” excuse instead of taking responsibility for selling a bad watch.
So I guess “sold as is” means the seller can sell you a bad watch, take your money, and then wash his hands of it.
