I’m a Mum from St Andrews in Scotland. Antiques and vintage are my mid-life crisis! For years I’ve been caring for my 3 kids, who all had/ have a complex inflammatory brain condition. On top of that I have been running them around to golf tournaments & running 2 businesses. Thankfully my two oldest are now recovered and doing brilliantly. A while ago I realised I’ve had no interests of my own for years. That’s when the thrifting started. I grew up around antiques and auctions through my Mum, but hadn’t thought about them for years. When the thrifting bug kicked in there was no stopping me. It soon progressed to auctions and now I love nothing better than rescuing previously treasured items and rehoming them.
