Reviews (374)was heartbroken to find that this bag absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. it’s so strong that i smelled it in the box before i even unwrapped the purse. i sniffed inside/outside of the bag and it is clear it was owned by a heavy smoker. the grey fabric on the outside also has a tinge of brown probably from exposure to cigarette smoke over time. i contacted the seller and she is claiming that she’s owned this vintage bag from 2007 but never smoked? obviously undermining my intelligence. if you aren’t a cigarette smoker than clearly this isnt your original bag and you’re simply a reseller that dropped the ball. She obviously didn’t check the condition/smell before posting/shipping and rather than apologize and offer some sort of partial-refund for cleaning expenses, she reached out to Whatnot for a return/refund without even asking if that’s what i wanted and then lied about being the original owner of the bag and denying any accountability. she couldn’t have handled this any worse.
