Reviews (374)was heartbroken to find that this bag absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. it’s so strong that i smelled it in the box before i even unwrapped the purse. i sniffed inside/outside of the bag and it is clear it was owned by a heavy smoker. the grey fabric on the outside also has a tinge of brown probably from exposure to cigarette smoke over time. i contacted the seller and she is claiming that she’s owned this vintage bag from 2007 but never smoked? obviously undermining my intelligence. if you aren’t a cigarette smoker than clearly this isnt your original bag and you’re simply a reseller that dropped the ball. She obviously didn’t check the condition/smell before posting/shipping and rather than apologize and offer some sort of partial-refund for cleaning expenses, she reached out to Whatnot for a return/refund without even asking if that’s what i wanted and then lied about being the original owner of the bag and denying any accountability. she couldn’t have handled this any worse. unfortunately, this is one of many scammers on this app that have figured out if they post a 1star review they get their money back and get to keep the item. I do not smoke, nor has anyone ever smoked in my home. This bag was from my personal collection and could not have ever smelt like smoke. As customer service is my number 1 priority, I immediately offered to have her return the item through WhatNot if she was unsatisfied with it.. she was extremely irate and abusive in messages since she was trying to extort me for "cleaning fees" and keep the item AND get WN to refund her. Shameful. I just received my package and love my item thank you 😊 thanks for the beautiful things Beautiful and quick shipping
